Overview

Design and draft civil/structural drawings using CAD under supervision.

Tasks

-Produce new drawings from examples of previous projects and/or standards with some supervision -Take personal responsibility for the quality and accuracy of his/her work -Calculate structure heights and weights, concrete volumes, equipment fit-up, or other basic tasks -Learn and properly use the document management system -Bring potential project-related problems and possible solutions to the attention of the responsible party -Research information in catalogues, specifications, corporate standards, or other reference material -Learn and apply corporate standard engineering practices

What You Bring

-Must be able to endure prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer for a minimum of 8 hours a day -May occasionally lift up to 25 pounds at a time. -This position requires minimal physical effort. -Travel out of town for short periods of time as required by projects and assignments -Must be able and willing to travel overnight for trainings and/or meetings as required (10%)
