Tasks

-Advising on compliance with relevant policy, legislation, good practice and relevant standards. -Inspire and Lead Technically: Provide technical leadership within your specialty, setting the standard for methodologies and approaches. Inspire your team by promoting excellence, encouraging rigorous review and innovation, and maintaining the highest quality standards. -Collaborate and Grow: Work closely with our Landscape Planning, Landscape Design, Town & Mineral Planning and EIA leads to expand our portfolio in differing sectors across the UK. Build on our stellar reputation for high-quality Planning, EIA, and Landscape services. This role involves driving the growth of our project pipeline, nurturing client relationships, managing resources, and ensuring the delivery of top-tier work through collaboration across Stephenson Halliday and the broader RSK Group. -Conducting and coordinating open space/green infrastructure strategies, site assessments and audits. -Advising on management and maintenance considerations in respect of designs and proposals. -Preparing and implementing historic landscapes/estate management plans. -Lead and Innovate: Take the professional lead in landscape management, guiding and mentoring staff through their professional development. Ensure the retention and growth of technical expertise within the team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and innovation. -Preparing and implementing invasive species management plans.

What You Bring

-Experience of landscape management consultancy and/or onsite implementation / landscape clerk of works range of project types such as open space, parks & gardens, historic landscapes & estates, and infrastructure projects (e.g. minerals, property, renewable energy, energy distribution & transmission, transport). -Driving License -Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute CMLI (preferred) -Excellent report writing skills. -Post Graduate or Masters in a Landscape related course (preferred) -Preparing and implementing landscape and ecological management plans, with a knowledge of Biodiversity Net Gain requirements -Availability to work away from home as required
