The Safety Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring a safe, compliant, and proactive work environment across all job sites. This position supports leadership in maintaining Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, promoting a culture of accountability, and driving continuous improvement.

Prepare and distribute weekly safety audit reports with recommendations
Lead and assist in company-wide safety training programs
Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and report findings
Verify that projects are equipped with proper PPE and first aid supplies
Support incident, injury, and near-miss investigations
Maintain accurate safety documentation, including OSHA logs and site-specific plans
Attend general contractor and client safety meetings, representing the company professionally
Partner with project managers and field leaders to ensure compliance with OSHA, ANSI, and NFPA 70E standards

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and safety management systems
Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills
2+ years of experience as a Safety Coordinator on commercial or industrial construction projects
Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926/1910, ANSI, and NFPA 70E
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR/AED, and NFPA 70E Qualified – required
OSHA 510 certification and bilingual (English/Spanish) – preferred
