The Safety Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring a safe, compliant, and proactive work environment across all job sites. This position supports leadership in maintaining Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, promoting a culture of accountability, and driving continuous improvement.

  • Prepare and distribute weekly safety audit reports with recommendations
  • Lead and assist in company-wide safety training programs
  • Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and report findings
  • Verify that projects are equipped with proper PPE and first aid supplies
  • Support incident, injury, and near-miss investigations
  • Maintain accurate safety documentation, including OSHA logs and site-specific plans
  • Attend general contractor and client safety meetings, representing the company professionally
  • Partner with project managers and field leaders to ensure compliance with OSHA, ANSI, and NFPA 70E standards

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and safety management systems
  • Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills
  • 2+ years of experience as a Safety Coordinator on commercial or industrial construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926/1910, ANSI, and NFPA 70E
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR/AED, and NFPA 70E Qualified – required
  • OSHA 510 certification and bilingual (English/Spanish) – preferred
