Overview

Maintain, fault‑find and repair medium/heavy industrial plant on rotating 2‑shift roster.

Tasks

-Completing preventative maintenance checks and inspections. -Working as a team with manufacturing and maintenance colleagues. -Lifting and handling plant and machinery components using appropriate equipment and techniques. -Rigging of unbalanced loads. -Developing and implementing modifications to improved reliability of plant and machinery.

What You Bring

-Risk assessment and safety awareness, guarding of machinery legislation. -High pressure steam maintenance. -Hydraulic and pneumatic. -Ability to communicate effectively. -Diagnosing, fault finding and repair of Medium/Heavy industrial plant and machinery. -Time served with EITB/equivalent Certificate of Craftsmanship. -Welding and brazing. -Minimum of BTEC ONC level in Mechanical Engineering. -MS Office or equivalent. -Working to a continuous shift pattern with necessary overtime to cover holidays. -Ability to read technical drawings.
