Tasks
-Support engineering leads and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver mechanical solutions. -Maintain and assess technical documentation and drawings. -Scope and design modifications to existing assets or new facilities. -Review maintenance regimes and specify replacement components. -Contribute to risk assessments, project documentation, and reporting. -Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on infrastructure projects.

What You Bring
Candidates must be Sole UK Nationals and eligible for Security Clearance. We are seeking Mechanical Handling Engineers across all levels of experience to support infrastructure and asset projects in a highly regulated environment. This role involves providing technical support for mechanical handling systems such as cranes, lifting equipment, and maintenance facilities. -Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP). -Minimum 3 years’ experience in a regulated industry (e.g., nuclear, maritime, oil & gas). -Strong understanding of design processes and substantiation of systems/components. -Experience with engineering drawings, hand calculations, and FEA. -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (Master’s or CEng preferred). -Familiarity with crane systems and mechanical handling safety.
