General Manager

Lead the lab's full operations, finance, sales, safety, and staff management.

Tasks

-Responsible for division Profit and Loss statements and economic performance. -Maintaining all business records, including customer and vendor data files. -Responsible for implementing company policies and protocols and ensuring compliance. -Work hand-in-hand with the sales team in identifying strategic targets and pricing strategies. -Responsible for site visits with employees and customers. -In charge of employee retention, review, and individual development. -Works in conjunction with entire staff in order to continue to operate an extremely safe and quality driven facility. -Oversee lab operation as a whole. -Responsible for SOX, Safety, Quality, and Radiation Safety program compliance, and all statutory compliance. -Approve all lab expenditures. -Utilization of key performance indicators to increase customer value. -Responsible for developing and achieving fiscal budgets. -Formulating the annual business plan and budget and monitoring adherence. -Responsible for division payroll and accounts payable. -Accountable for division safety performance. -Manage, direct and support Project Managers at assigned evergreens.

What You Bring

-Effective communicator with the ability to mitigate emotional customer and employee situations. -College course work is highly desirable, but not required. -Experience in an industrial, nuclear, petrochemical, refining or utility related environment is required. -Prior experience in a General Management role is preferred. -Must possess an understanding of MISTRAS’ Advanced Technology offerings. -Prior experience in the Nondestructive Testing (NDT) industry is required.
