Senior Engineer – Instrumentation

Overview

Design and oversee ELV/telecom systems (BMS, fire, security) for data center/industrial projects.

Tasks

-Evaluating and Performing design reviews and participating in team meetings to ensure timely deliverables. -Detail drawings for field devices and cable conduit layouts. -Design of BMS, Chiller plant Automation, Fire detection , PA , Telecom and Security system for Data Center or Industrial Projects. -Selection of best suited instruments or devices and their specifications for building automation, fire alarm and security system design. -Tender documents with relevant design, Technical specifications, material requisition, data sheets and BOQ as per requirement. -Coordinating with construction team to ensure proper installation as per design. -Prepare / review Basis of Design. -Preparing TBA/ TBE, review of technical data sheets and shop drawings submitted by various vendors/ contractors. -Coordination with other disciplines and perform squad checks on drawing received from other disciplines.

What You Bring

-Should have fair understanding on TIA-942-B Standard for Data Centers. -5-8 years of experience in handling ELV and Telecom Design activities. In Data-center or Industrial projects. -Experience in conceptual design at preliminary stage by understanding the project requirement by following relevant codes & standards. -BMS IO summary, Sequence of operations for various systems, cause & effect matrix for Fire alarm system -Familiar with Data Center Master Plan, Concept, Schematics. -BE/B. Tech in Instrumentation / Electrical Engineering -Application of other supporting software like Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat. -Hands on experience of Indian and International codes for the design. -Application of 3D review software like Navisworks. -Competent user of MS Office 365 Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
