Tasks

-Perform any additional maintenance related duties as required by HBM supervisor/property management -Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed as necessary. -Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs: carpentry, painting, masonry, plumbing, electrical and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC). -Create and maintain work orders Create and maintain purchase orders

What You Bring

-Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle -Customer service oriented Strong organizational skills -Mechanical aptitude -High school diploma/GED -Must pass background check -Must have good public relations skills and communication -Must have open availability, subjective to emergencies: after hours, weekends and holidays -General preventative maintenance experience is required (Basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall) -Excellent customer service skills to interact with property managers, vendors, customers, etc. Involves constant movement, standing, walking, bending, able to stretch during shifts Able to lift, press, push, pull, carry a minimum of 60lbs up to 75lbs -Troubleshooting abilities -Ability to work a flexible schedule -Applicants must perform basic manual labor, clean common areas, frequently lift, push, press, pull, carry a minimum of 60lbs (up to 75lbs), be able to reach overhead, grasp objects, bend, kneel, crawl, squat, climb, stretch, walk, walk up and down a stairway, climb up a 15ft vertical ladder, conduct a thorough walk-through of the entire property and navigate the ceiling crawl spaces, and stand throughout their shift. -Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
