TP- JANITOR

Overview

Tasks

-Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers (as trained). -Wipe down surfaces, doors, railings, and equipment to control dust and debris. -Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies; notify supervisor when replenishment is needed. -Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, locker rooms, and common areas. -Perform other duties as assigned to support overall cleanliness and functionality of the distribution center. -Assist with seasonal cleaning projects, including deep cleaning and floor care. -Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors in warehouse, office, and restroom areas. -Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. -Respond to spills, leaks, or other safety hazards promptly to reduce risk of accidents. -Ensure outside entryways, sidewalks, and dock areas remain clean, free of trash, and safe. -Empty trash cans, recycling containers, and compactors; ensure waste is disposed of properly.

What You Bring

-Ability to perform physical labor including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. -Strong attention to detail and reliability. -Ability to perform repetitive motions such as sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing. -Knowledge of safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. -Previous janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred, especially in warehouse or industrial settings. -High school diploma or GED preferred, not required. -OSHA 10 hours. -Manual dexterity to operate cleaning equipment and tools. -Basic communication skills. -Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and climb for extended periods of time. -Dependability and strong work ethic. -Flexible to work different shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed. -Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently. -Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds occasionally. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
