Senior Traffic Engineer

Overview

Lead traffic engineering design, analysis and coordination for large-scale road and urban projects.

Tasks

-Identify and mitigate potential traffic-related risks and issues during design and pre-construction phases. -Attend client and stakeholder meetings to present technical solutions and recommendations. -Ensure designs comply with Saudi traffic codes, regulations, and international best practices. -Lead traffic engineering design and analysis for roads, intersections, and internal circulation networks. -Provide technical advice on traffic signal design, signage, and pedestrian/cyclist infrastructure. -Conduct traffic impact assessments, capacity analysis, and road safety audits. -Prepare and review traffic modeling, simulations, and technical reports. -Mentor and guide junior traffic engineers and support staff. -Coordinate with civil design, MEP/utilities, and urban planning teams to ensure integrated solutions.

What You Bring

-Strong knowledge of Saudi traffic standards, codes, and road safety regulations. -Proficiency in traffic analysis and modeling software (Synchro, VISSIM, SIDRA, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent). -Strong project management, coordination, and stakeholder communication skills. -Proven experience on large-scale land development or urban infrastructure projects in GCC countries, preferably Saudi Arabia. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. -15+ years of experience in traffic engineering, transport planning, and road design.
