Ensure compliance with Australian standards (AS/NZS), National Electricity Rules (NER), utility guidelines, and safety regulations.
Lead the development of detailed cost estimates for T&D projects from early feasibility through to final tender submission: HV and EHV transmission lines, distribution networks, and/or substation infrastructure (typically 66 kV–500 kV).
Analyse engineering drawings, design calculations, specifications, and tender documents to determine required cost elements.
Conduct feasibility studies, route selection, risk assessments, and constructability reviews.
Support procurement activities, including technical evaluations and vendor engagement.
Contribute to business development efforts, proposals, and client presentations.
Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and external stakeholders to ensure cost-effective and timely project delivery.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in transmission and distribution sector.
Familiarity with project scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
Excellent communication, technical writing, and stakeholder management skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Experience with power system analysis software (e.g., PSS®E, PowerFactory, ETAP, Candy, PLSCAD).
Experience working with major Australian utilities, transmission network service providers (e.g., AEMO, TransGrid, Powerlink, AusNet, Western Power), or EPC contractors.
Knowledge of HV/EHV systems, including overhead line and/or underground cable design.
