Tasks

-Conduct periodic management quality review meetings -Incorporate quality methods to other CEI departments -Set up and maintain quality controls and documentation -Supervise internal audit program -Introduce and manage continual improvement programs -BIM issue resolution and tracking of tags with the BIM system -Ensure that CEI’s Quality Management System (QMS) conforms to customer, internal, ISO 9001, and regulatory/legal requirements -Liaise with other managers and staff, particularly in areas such as design, production and supply chain -Oversee inspection (examination) of incoming materials, ensuring they meet set requirements -Monitor and assess suppliers' product specifications -Work closely with Supply Chain Management staff to establish supplier quality performance criteria and monitor supplier performance -Ensure evaluation of, and reporting on, supplier quality systems and plans -Ensure compliance with national and international standards -Oversee product recalls -Work with customers, employees, contractors, and suppliers to develop product requirements -Report to management on the performance of the QMS (e.g., results of quality audits, corrective actions) -Promote quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization -Apply environmental and health and safety standards -Supervise supplier audit program -Act as the key contact with customers' auditors. Ensure corrective actions and ongoing compliance with customers' specifications. -Develop and administer quality-related training needs

What You Bring

-Must be able to travel 50% of the time -Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done -Ability to lifting 25lbs -Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for sponsorship. -Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels are essential -Experience with MS-Office (especially Excel, Word) is needed -Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization, must have proven ability to lead a diverse team of technicians -Project management experience is a plus -Sitting/Standing/Walking for extended times
