Tasks

The Electrical Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and layout plans used for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The role involves translating design concepts into precise technical drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and coordinating with engineers and site teams to support the smooth execution of electrical works. -Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, and contractors to ensure drawings are properly implemented on site. -Ensure all drafting work complies with company standards, electrical codes, and safety regulations. -Prepare detailed electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and layout plans using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.). -Maintain drawing records, revisions, and updates as per project requirements. -Supervise the installation and repair of electrical systems and equipment as required. -Draft technical details, including dimensions, materials, and installation procedures. -Create visual guidelines and technical documentation for construction and installation teams. -Support engineers in the design and development of electrical systems and ensure accuracy in all technical documentation.

What You Bring

-Strong coordination and communication abilities. -Time management and ability to meet deadlines under pressure. -Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. -High attention to detail and accuracy. -Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman in construction, MEP, or related industries. -Strong understanding of electrical systems, layouts, and schematics. -Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant CAD software. -Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. -Excellent technical drafting and visualization skills.
