Tasks

Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia’s future. -Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at both strategic and operational levels. -Deliver complex logistics support to meet project deliverables and apply Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) considerations across capability development. -Support logistics activities including RAM analysis, sparing, LORA, costing, capability transition, and advising on Fundamental Inputs to Capability (FIC). -Ensure Logistics Governance & Assurance by following Defence policies, processes, and record-keeping standards. -Provide technical ILS advice for project planning, procedures, and Support System Constituent Capabilities during acquisition.

What You Bring

More than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients. Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement. -Proven experience in ICT system administration with strong technical capability. -Exposure to aviation environments, demonstrating adaptability in complex operational contexts. -Ability to work independently with initiative and responsibility, supported by strong written (Defence standards) and oral communication skills. -Solid understanding of the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) and compliance requirements. -Formal qualifications in information security, plus certifications in VMware Workspace ONE UEM, AWS, and Microsoft Office 365.
