Quality Control Specialist

Ensures product/service meets quality standards, conducts inspections, audits, and resolves issues.

Tasks

-Works in close collaboration with production, engineering or any other department needed to resolve the quality product problems and ensures they are fully addressed by following robust root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actions. -Participating as internal Auditor and in Suppliers audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001: 2015 and 10CFRPart 50 Appendix B. -Issuing certificates of conformance as applicable. -Reporting quality issues data and metrics and escalates any product quality or safety non conformance cases to Quality Manager -Supporting quality control needs and activities for supplier quality, production quality, testing and validation, and engineering, as applicable. -Reviewing contracts from customer to ensure we meet the quality requirements before accept order. -Creating quality inspections plans and conducts quality inspections, as assigned, to ensure products meet specified requirements and customer expectations in manufacturing and final inspection quality.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or similar, with at least 4 years of experience in Quality department working as Quality Assurance Engineer; or alternately a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments in Quality. -Operates in a fast-paced environment where decisions must be made quickly, and teamwork is essential. -Knowledge in 10CFRPart 50 Appendix B is desirable. -Open to sponsorship -Strong knowledge in Quality Control tools and Problem Solving methodologies. -Strong knowledge of Microsoft programs, Excel, Word, Power Point, Microsoft outlook. -Lead auditor certified is desirable or at least Internal Auditor certified ISO 9001:2015.
