Tasks

As a Production Controller you will be responsible for analysing progress reports, against the existing work schedules, and support corrective actions to minimise impact to the project path. -Identifying trends and deviations from the original plan and recommend appropriate corrective actions. -Building and maintaining close working relationships with other disciplines within the organisation, particularly the area delivery and construction teams. -Supporting and coordinating critical path resources to meet agreed targets. -Working closely with contract and client planning engineers. -Managing the reference levels against which a project is monitored and controlled. -Identify, apply and evaluate cost control techniques to support the monitoring, managing and reporting of the project. -Prepare and support weekly/monthly review and evaluation reports/schedules and flow forecasts for submission to the Delivery Integration team & MEH Alliance. -Utilising Project software tools - P6 outputs, Excel databases/spreadsheets, Power BI, SharePoint, CEMAR, & Mpower. -Attend and influence meetings.

What You Bring

This position will require attendance, at HPC site, Monday-Friday. Please note many of our UK projects require high-level security clearance, meaning we can only consider candidates with an existing, indefinite right to work in the UK. -Training & Development, including additional qualifications and accreditations relevant to your role -A questioning attitude and a proactive approach – ability to challenge the status quo, think innovatively and with a mindset of continuous improvement. -Ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary project teams. -Reside locally to Bridgwater or be prepared to relocate, as this permanent role does not include travel expense coverage. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Familiarity with Primavera P6 or other project management tools is an advantage. -Experience in one of the following environments: technical or construction projects, military, highly regulated, multi-disciplinary, site-based disciplines, or similar. -Strong active listening and communication skills to clearly understand tasks and effectively relay information to management. -Financial & commercial awareness, alongside practical working experience in a position where you have gained exposure to project management / support, finance, data, technical, construction, or another relevant area. -Exceptional attention to detail in data analysis to ensure accuracy and reliability. -Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
