Manage mailroom operations for a Life Sciences/Pharma site in Concord, NC

Tasks

-Apply appropriate postage amounts and required identification to outgoing mail and packages. -Process shipment requests with customer, advising package owner of arrangements. -Stock copy rooms and provide first communication for copier fleet production. -Approve or reject deliveries based on inspections. -Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team. -Answer via email with Supervisor copied common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisors and effectively present information to an internal group. -Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedent. May recommend new techniques. -Ensure all shipped packages are protected against damage. -Ensure that all packages received and delivered arrive the same day or advise the consignee of the next day's arrival. Bring mail, packages, copy products, and stationery to the assigned group or location as per the daily schedule. -Check daily and replenish, if necessary, all mail and postage supplies. -Impact own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related. -Inspect delivered items with delivery invoices.

What You Bring

-High School Diploma or equivalent experience or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience. -Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. -A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required. -Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way. -Pac Trac system nice to have, not required. -In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
