Overview

Manage end-to-end data center projects, overseeing thermal systems and commissioning.

Tasks

-Manage change orders, scope adjustments, and project modifications in alignment with client requirements. -Oversee integrated system testing and functional testing of data center sites. -Ensure projects meet customer specifications, quality standards, and industry best practices. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, construction management, and client services. -Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with engineering and technical teams. -Provide expertise in thermal execution for data centers, particularly in chilled water systems. -Manage and mentor technicians on-site, ensuring clear communication and adherence to project plans. -Lead and manage data center projects, ensuring timely execution from startup to commissioning. -Support post-installation follow-up to verify operational excellence and customer satisfaction. -Act as the primary point of contact for technical and operational questions during project execution. -Develop and maintain detailed project schedules that track milestones and deliverables. -Interface with data center customers to understand their unique needs and provide tailored solutions.

What You Bring

-Proven experience managing projects in the data center, industrial, or HVAC sectors. -Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. -Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. -Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and engage with technical staff. -Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. -Strong mechanical aptitude with an understanding of complex data center infrastructure. -Demonstrated expertise in thermal execution, especially in systems involving chilled water or water cooling. -Experience in integrated system testing, commissioning, and functional testing is preferred. -Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, industry training programs, or equivalent years of experience. -Proficiency in project management tools and software.
