Tasks

-Reviews client business requirements and project specifications to ensure construction projects are developed accordingly. -Delivers structural engineering plans, complex designs, and systematic testing methodologies to facilitate the planning, construction, and maintenance services associated with bridges, foundations, and other ancillary structures. -Leads the delivery of projects following contract guidelines, meeting project schedules, managing assets within project budgets and producing quality products. -Performs quality reviews and independent design reviews for bridges and other highway structures.

What You Bring

-Good written and verbal communication skills -AL Professional License -Ability to travel as required by client (typically 20%) -Master of Civil Engineering preferred -Experience with Bluebeam, ProjectWise, Bentley Engineering software, and ALDOT in house design software preferred -Licensed Structural Engineer with successful completion of 16-hour exam preferred -5 to 10 years minimum professional experience designing bridges -Substantial Experience with AASHTO LRFD -Experience delivering quality projects following demonstrated QC/QA protocols -Experience coaching and leading lower level professionals -Bachelor of Science – Civil Engineering -Demonstrated experience leading and delivering complex projects
