-Review plans, specifications, and project documents to determine scope of work -Prepare bid packages, proposals, and supporting documentation for management review -Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure complete coverage and competitive pricing -Identify value-engineering opportunities and recommend cost-effective solutions -Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field operations to ensure a smooth handoff from bid to construction -Perform detailed takeoffs and develop accurate cost estimates for earthwork, utilities, and site development projects -Track market trends, labor rates, and material costs to maintain current and competitive pricing

What You Bring

-Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills -Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment -3+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil/site development construction (Florida experience preferred) -Proficiency in HCSS/HeavyBid, AGTEK, or similar estimating software -Strong knowledge of earthwork, utilities, and local permitting requirements
