Tasks

-Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with project teams to verify that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule. -Make recommendations for salary and staffing adjustments -Coordinate with market sector leaders on technical staff assignments for projects across Central Texas and workshare management with HDR Areas outside of Central Texas -Coordinate staffing and workload through project life cycles and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule -Develop and implement standard project delivery practices, procedures, and approaches -Lead quality assurance efforts to implement QA/QC Program activities, striving for continuous improvement -Monitor project QC Review activities including assignment of experienced and qualified reviewers -Participate in 0% reviews, project reviews, and PARR’s and support project teams with management of claims and losses -Lead and monitor activities for continuous improvement including development and use of technical standards, procedures, best practices and lessons learned -Work with Business Group Manager to streamline and coordinate business processes consistent with the overall Area, corporate policy, and MOA -Actively manage and closely coordinate workload balancing and ensure qualified staffing of project teams with the Professional Services Leaders -Collaborate effectively with BG operations, market leadership / sectors, business classes, and Professional Services Leaders -Perform delegated matrix of authority (MOA) responsibilities from BGM -Assist with daily operations, such as project oversight, management reviews, financials and driving profitability at the project level -Promote, monitor, and develop project management skills and quality best practices for transportation staff across the Area -Provide project management team organization and leadership for projects across the BG -Oversee technical and digital delivery evolution, in collaboration with subject matter experts

What You Bring

-A minimum of 5 years of project management experience -Familiar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, project management software -Extensive knowledge and experience with HDR systems and PM tools for effective project management and delivery -Extensive industry experience in delivering transportation projects across market sectors -A minimum of 15 years of experience developing, managing, and leading multi-discipline project delivery teams -Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills -Bachelor's degree in related field -10 years related experience -Proven history of delivering high quality, profitable and successful transportation projects -Demonstrated experience with managing and leading diverse teams.
