The Role

Overview

Drive sales, manage client relationships, and deliver HVAC/energy service solutions.

Tasks

-Develop, write, and review client proposal documents including financial and technical sections, using EMCOR Service/Mesa Energy Systems standard template and pricing models. -Preparing and delivering client presentations. -Working with the Director of Business Development, Project Managers and Engineering Supervisors in constantly reviewing and improving account programs to meet targeted objectives. -Managing through analysis and solution-based programs to maximize sales growth, volume and profitability. -Seeking out and researching prospective projects through various methods (e.g., phone calls, visits, attending conferences, utilizing the Internet, leveraging existing relationships). Contacting prospective client Chief Engineer, Account Managers and Property Managers to introduce yourself and develop future relationships. -Establishing relationships with prospective clients. -Developing sales at defined margin levels to attain market share.

What You Bring

-Relevant technical experience, preferably in a Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance environment. -A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or business administration is preferred. -Financial acumen, inclusive of cost modeling for sales proposals. -Strong customer presentation skills and demonstrated sales aptitude. -Independent decision-making is required. -Computer skills using MS Office required. Strong Excel skills are required. -8+ years’ sales experience in HVAC commercial service and/or building automation. -Experience in developing technical and cost proposals.
