Summer internship assisting construction management tasks for home building.

Tasks
-Create and implement recommendations concerning best solution for any issues that may arise with building inspectors, contractors, customers, or suppliers. -Under the supervision of management, inspect all materials and workmanship during installation and upon completion to ensure quality standards. -Acquire and apply the appropriate knowledge of Perry Homes construction procedures regarding the process from sheetrock tape and float to home completion, while under management supervision. -Ensure independent contractors are maintaining appropriate safety standards. -Assist Construction Management Team in maintaining subdivision safety records. -Assist in planning and coordinating warranty service as stated by company policy. -Assists in inspecting all warranty to ensure that the work meets company standards. -Assist in maintaining assigned inventory homes and tasks in a high state of quality.

What You Bring
-Acquire applicable knowledge in how to build and maintain relationships with homeowners, trades, and sales staff. -Current, valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record and reliable transportation. -You must be able to work at least 40 hours a week. The schedule is Monday through Friday. -Time Management -Organizational Skills -Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. -High School Diploma and current enrollment in College required. -From time to time must complete projects with short notice in extreme time constraints. -Acquire applicable knowledge in monitoring compliance with the subdivision safety program and reporting violations to the Project Manager.
