Tasks
-Produce and present clear project status reports for clients and stakeholders. -Lead project planning, implementation, and progress tracking through all stages of the lifecycle. -Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns. -Allocate project tasks based on skills and experience to optimise team performance. -Communicate effectively with senior management, clients, and project teams to align on goals and expectations. -Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners. -Manage the safe delivery of automation projects, ensuring adherence to contracts, budgets, and schedules. -Collaborate closely with Design, Engineering, Quality, H&S, and Procurement teams.

What You Bring
About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in industrial automation to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering projects. You’ll act as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. -Strong working knowledge of NEC 4 contracts (Options A, C, and E preferred). -Knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations and NGT procedures (Quality, Environmental, H&S). -Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. -Skilled in project management software (Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Primavera P6, FastDraft). -Proven experience delivering industrial automation or engineering projects. -Degree in a relevant field with PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification advantageous. -Proficient with PMBOK or PRINCE2 methodologies.
