Tasks

-Perform and oversee general apartment maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs. -Support resident and community events as needed. -Evaluate maintenance performance and assist property managers in identifying training needs or skill gaps. -Maintain and repair building systems (garages, doors, siding, fences, roofs, etc.). -Participate in rotating on-call coverage (approximately one week every four weeks). -Respond promptly and professionally to resident maintenance requests. -Lead and train maintenance staff to ensure consistent quality and safety standards across properties. -Step in for coverage when technicians are out or additional help is needed. -Work collaboratively with property managers and maintenance teams to uphold Toonen’s high standards.

What You Bring

-Excellent communication and teamwork skills. -Ability to train, mentor, and evaluate other maintenance technicians. -5+ years of experience in apartment, residential, or commercial maintenance. -Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair. -Valid driver’s license (company vehicle provided for work and on-call use).
