High Voltage Operations Manager

Overview

Lead and grow new high‑voltage profit centre, overseeing ops, P&L and team.

Tasks

-Ensure compliance with HV/LV Safety Rules and company policies. -Manage contracts, project scopes, and stakeholder objectives. -Develop new business opportunities, prepare bids, and support tender success. -Set clear team objectives and build a high-performance culture. -Take commercial ownership of budgets, P&L, orders, and forecasts. -Oversee daily operations with a “right first time” approach. -Lead HR activities including mentoring, development, and workforce management. -Monitor costs, improve efficiency, and maximise profitability. -Support wider business initiatives and act as a role model for professionalism. -Deliver profit centre goals with a focus on safety, operational excellence, and efficiency.

We specialise in contracting and rotating machine services, and our expertise in repairing and maintaining motors and generators is backed by over 100 years of experience in the field. -Proven experience leading and developing teams. -IOSH/SMSTS H&S for Managers. -Excellent leadership and people management skills. -Strong P&L, budgeting, and commercial acumen. -Higher qualification in Electrical Engineering (desirable). -Knowledge of HV/LV electrical engineering services and markets. -Track record in business development and sales growth. -5+ years’ experience in engineering business management.
