The Role
Overview
General labor and equipment operation for grading crews in Central TN.

Tasks
-Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment. -Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies. Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management. -Complete various manual labor tasks around the job site – including work with shovels, tamps, and various other hand tools. -Operate some heavy equipment – such as a skid steer, backhoe, compacting roller, haul truck, or dozer – as needed. -Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency. -Provide direction to and take tickets from trucks and suppliers on the job site.

What You Bring
-Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required. -1-2 years experience in operating heavy equipment is preferred, but not required. -Ability to perform general laborer and clean-up duties as needed/directed. -Clean Motor Vehicle Record and Valid Drivers License required. -Effective communication skills applicable to position. -Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document. -Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours as necessary. -Pass pre-employment drug screen.
