Tasks

-Maintains records of installed quantities and completed construction work. -Provides technical support in all phases of estimating, construction formation, project execution, testing/inspection, and project closeout. -Assists in the preparation of procedures, administrative and technical documents. -May prepare/approve purchase requisitions for materials and services. -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Performs verification of work in progress to ensure requirements of safety, security, quality (technical drawings and specifications), environmental control, workmanship, and schedule are met. -Participates in obtaining any required permits/clearances, lockouts, Escort Agreements, and work authorizations prior to commencing work on site. -Review Lessons Learned and collaborate with corporate personnel, and other corporate partner projects.

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering or related degree -Demonstrated knowledge of basic construction engineering principles. -Regular, reliable attendance -All employees are subject and agree to random drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. -Aptitude in reading and understanding engineering design documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure their completeness and constructability -Candidate must complete security questionnaire and successfully clear site access requirements check -Knowledge of construction safety -Must be able to obtain a security clearance, as applicable -Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies -Aptitude in collaborative problem solving to resolve nuclear facility and infrastructure engineering issues in the field as the liaison between design engineers and the constructor. -Strong work ethic – highly motivated and willing to do what it takes to get the job done right -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Ability to effectively communicate engineering solutions both verbally and in writing for management, customers, peers, and craft personnel. -Eligibility for this position requires sole US citizenship; the successful candidate must provide proof of US citizenship in order to obtain badge access to the site -Aptitude for conducting field verifications of construction work to oversee, facilitate, and enforce compliance with drawings, specifications, national codes and standards.
