Overview

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)

Tasks

-Coordinate efforts with vendors and/or third parties for the most complex repairs or for services under warranty and inspect completed repairs to ensure proper operation. -Perform Inspection and Maintenance of café/kitchen equipment -Ensure that all customer complaints are handled professionally, appropriately, and in a timely manner. -Conduct various locksmith tasks and/or the management of key security. -Regularly inspect and conduct preventive tests to ensure proper working condition of all the building's equipment and overall operational infrastructure. -Participate in and/or may lead special projects related to the improvement of building operations and efficiencies. -Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair or replace failed equipment and/or non-functioning components, belts, filters, etc. -Must participate in On-Call rotation schedule as assigned -Drive optimization of facility for clients, customers, and staff in a safe operating condition; conduct preventative and reactive maintenance; and resolve immediate operational and building safety concerns. -Obtain and compare estimates for work to be performed by outside vendors -Manage and support maintenance of elevators, fire life safety devices, and UPSs

What You Bring

-Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus -HVAC troubleshooting and preventative maintenance -Work independently and as part of a team, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills -Experience working on HVAC systems. -Basic computer proficiency (Word, Outlook, Smartphone) -EPA Certification -Minimum 5 years’ experience in operations maintenance or similar building engineering roles. -Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines -High school diploma or vocational or trade school -Ability to lift, push, pull, and/ or carry minimum 50 pounds -Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods. -Strong knowledge of work order control procedures. -While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch/crawl daily -Ability to work at heights using ladders or similar tools. -Must possess valid driver’s license. -Electrical work including re-lamping, ballast replacement and breaker reset -Access Door and Overhead Door repair/adjustment, as required
