Tasks

-Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use. -Adhere to the company safety policies and safety measures. -Adhering to preventive maintenance programs to the building as required. -Complete work orders for residential units and common areas as needed. -Identify and repair potential safety hazards.

What You Bring

-High School or equivalent education preferred. -Must be able to work in environmentally and physically challenging working conditions. -Experience with Entrata and Microsoft Office -Appliances: Ability to diagnose and perform repairs on appliances. -Must be available to assist with move-outs, turn, and move-ins that extend beyond normal full-time hour. -Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, as required by the demands of the job. This may include bending, stooping, and lifting throughout the workday. -Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills. -Must have a valid driver’s license, valid insurance, and reliable transportation. -Basic understanding of MEP systems. -Knowledge of general maintenance methods and processes. -Must be able to work on an on-call basis. -Experience in student housing and multi-family industries. -3+ years of maintenance experience. -Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems -HVAC: Ability to diagnose and perform repairs on HVAC systems. -Be a Certified Pool Operator (CPO)or able to attain within the first 3 months of employment. -The ability to use a variety of hand and power tools. -Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices -Must be able to work a full shift / required work schedule on-site the property. -Must be able to demonstrate safe work practices and the proper use of PPE. -Must be available for additional hours including evenings, weekends, and overtime when necessary. -Knowledge of painting and drywall repair.
