Tasks
-Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4 Renewals Specialists with clear performance metrics and career progression pathways -Analyse renewal metrics, trends, and root causes of churn to inform retention strategies -Build a high-engagement, results-driven team culture while maintaining accountability for renewal targets -Set renewal targets and develop strategies to maximize gross revenue retention (GRR) and net revenue retention (NRR) -Own renewals pipeline management, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely customer engagement -Elevate the renewals function through process improvement, technology enablement, and team capability development -Work closely with Customer Success Managers to develop renewal strategies tailored to customer health and risk profiles -Foster collaborative relationships across the business -Partner with finance and sales leadership to forecast and track renewal pipeline and revenue -Manage the transition and consolidation of renewal systems, data, and customer information -Implement best practices in renewal management and reporting cadence to support board-level visibility -Maintain business continuity during organizational change and restructuring -Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and identify training and development needs -Lead high-value renewal negotiations and escalations, particularly with enterprise accounts -Work with acquired company leadership to align renewals processes, systems, and KPIs -Lead the integration of renewals processes following M&A activity, standardising approaches where beneficial while respecting acquired company cultures -Liaise with CS & Sales leadership on customer disputes and escalations, representing the renewals function with authority -Navigate integration challenges across newly acquired business entities at varying stages of integration

What You Bring
-8+ years in renewals, account management, or customer success with demonstrated experience in organizations undergoing frequent M&A activity -Experience navigating organizational change and maintaining renewal performance during periods of transformation -Manage cross-functional complexity with sensitivity to organizational politics and change management -Proven track record of managing renewals complexity across multiple business entities at different stages of integration -Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams -5+ years in a leadership or senior management role with responsibility for team performance and revenue outcomes -Experience managing cross-functional stakeholder groups, including Sales, Finance, and senior leadership
