Tasks

This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end technical performance of infrastructure, ensuring installations meet strict OEM specifications, UK compliance standards, and internal quality assurance procedures. It will also involve direct engagement with installation and maintenance partners to uphold training, performance, and service expectations. -Ensure installation of control cabling, power connections, Ethernet configuration, and safety interlocks are to standard. -Verify partner competency through training and certification checks; escalate gaps to senior leadership. -Produce and submit detailed commissioning reports, electrical test certificates, and photographic evidence. -Maintain accurate and complete records of all commissioning, maintenance, and escalation activities. -Support partners in addressing technical queries and resolving field-level issues effectively. -Collaborate closely with installation and maintenance partners to ensure compliance with technical and quality benchmarks. -Validate infrastructure against OEM documentation, company QA policies, and BS7671 electrical standards. -Guide on-site teams through resolution of complex technical issues, drawing on OEM engagement where necessary. -Ensure all work aligns with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for response time, uptime, and service quality. -Visual inspection and test report generation -Perform live commissioning of DC EV charging systems across operational sites. -Deliver preventive maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelines, inspecting filters, cable assemblies, cooling systems, RCDs, and other key components. -Diagnose and mitigate early signs of wear or malfunction, ensuring optimal uptime and performance. -Serve as a field-based technical authority, providing immediate support during commissioning or maintenance phases.

What You Bring

A leading player in the EV infrastructure space is seeking a highly skilled Technical Delivery Manager to lead the commissioning, compliance, and long-term reliability of EV charging systems across high-utilisation fleet and bus depot environments in the UK. -Familiar with UK wiring regulations (BS7671) and Health & Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines. -ECS Gold Card or other JIB-recognised qualification (preferred). -Completion of Kempower Academy training (or willingness to complete during onboarding). -RCD trip time and functionality checks -NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent certification in Inspection & Testing. -Working knowledge of DC high-power charging, especially for fleet-scale deployments. -Insulation resistance measurement -Strong hands-on experience with EV chargers, industrial electrical systems, or control/automation equipment. -Loop impedance testing -Valid UK driver’s licence and Right to Work in the UK. -Ability to interpret electrical schematics, SLDs, and technical documentation.
