Tasks

-Technical coordination with Electrical and Mechanical department. -Shall be able to review civil drawings and documents to fulfil the local country regulations. -Analyze customer specification to ensure Hitachi - Power Grids solution to meets the requirements. -Lead and coordinate all civil design disciplines to facilitate an integrated 3D design as specified by the department's processes and relevant technical specifications. -Co-ordination with Project/Tender Team for timelines, budget, risks & opportunities. -Technical coordination between Civil & MEP. -Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

What You Bring

-You should have 5-7 Years of experience in Civil design of power plant / substations. -Bachelor's degree B.E./B.Tech in Civil engineering. -Must have knowledge in technology knowledge of Steel structure and reinforced concrete structures – Staad, AutoCAD/Revit knowledge required -Knowledge of Civil/Steel/MEP materials is an added advantage. -Self-starter caliber who could own tasks through to completion. -Strong attention to detail. -Must have minimum 3 years of experience in substation design or Industrial structures. -Good knowledge of the relevant international Standards/Codes - British Codes (BS), Indian codes, ACI is a must have. Other codes like Eurocodes, DIN, ASTM or equivalent shall be an advantage. -Hands on experience in BOQ for civil foundation, superstructure, PEB structures associated with substations /switchyards etc. -HV / EHV Switchyard equipment foundations which include Power transformers, Reactors, switching equipment, Gantry and Towers along with drainage and cable trenches, GIS Building foundations, Office/Storage buildings foundation. -Knowing the design principles and relevant internal guidelines/instructions. -HVDC substation design knowledge shall be an advantage. -Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
