Maintain compliance with plant safety protocols, electrical codes, and company standards.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on system reliability and efficiency.
Perform routine diagnostics, repairs, and calibration of automation equipment, including:
Support software modifications, backups, and documentation of automation code and drive parameters.
Assist in the installation, commissioning, and startup of new automation equipment or upgrades.
Use HMIs, diagnostic tools, and remote interfaces for real-time monitoring and issue resolution.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain DCS/PLC systems and drives to ensure smooth plant operations.

TIA Portal-based Siemens PLCs (S7-1200/1500 series)
Hands-on experience with Siemens PCS 7, TIA Portal, and Siemens G120/S120 drives.
Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (PROFINET, PROFIBUS, Ethernet/IP).
Experience in a continuous manufacturing environment, ideally in fiberglass, paper, or chemical processing.
Understanding of process instrumentation (flow, temperature, pressure, level sensors).
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and Multiple types of Logic.
Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and wear appropriate PPE.
Siemens G120 and S120 variable frequency drives (VFDs)
Industrial plant setting with exposure to noise, heat, dust, and moving equipment.
Solid troubleshooting skills in both hardware and software systems.
3+ years of experience in an industrial automation or controls technician role.
Basic knowledge of SCADA systems and data logging tools.
Ability to work on-call, as required for support and maintenance.
Analog and Digital Sensors (Sick, Vega, E&H, and Banner)
Associate’s Degree or Technical Diploma in Automation, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or related field Preferred.
