Tasks

-Undertake cost estimating, benchmarking, and value engineering exercises. -Manage key stakeholders and cost information -Maintain relationship with the Joint Venture Partners being the point of contact for all queries -Assisting with the provision of information for the annual audit -Manage change control, schedule of rates, and Application for Payment -Follow up all outstanding costs, invoices and employee expenses -Manage and keep the timesheet system updated and ensuring your assistant commercial manager chases up outstanding timesheets

What You Bring

-Chartered status (MRICS, MCInstCES, or equivalent). -Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. -Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Civil Engineering. -Advanced capability in cost reporting, forecasting, and value management. -Strong understanding of cost planning, estimation and contract administration -Understanding of Value Engineering and whole-life cost analysis -Extensive experience in commercial management within the rail, light rail, or major infrastructure sector. -Proven ability to work independently and drive progress without supervision. -Experience within design-and-build environments. -Professional accreditation preferred (RICS, ICES, or equivalent).
