Tasks

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Drafter to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with discipline designers, leads, and managers to develop electrical and construction drawings. You will learn from a mentor while preparing project deliverables, maintaining strong attention to detail, and proactively engaging with team members to efficiently compose, draft, proof, and deliver drawings. -Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure drawings meet project specifications, regulatory standards, and client requirements. -Maintain drawing standards, templates, and libraries for consistency across projects. -Review engineering data and field information to ensure accuracy in drafted drawings. -Prepare and update construction and as-built drawings in coordination with project engineers and discipline leads. -Work alongside experienced engineers and designers on real-world midstream/upstream oil & gas projects -Assist in the creation and revision of electrical drawings for midstream and upstream facilities, including pipelines, pump stations, compressor stations, meter stations, and processing plants. -Coordinate with project managers to track drawing deliverables and meet project deadlines. -Assist in preparing CAD models, schematics, panel layouts, and single-line diagrams. -Assist other designers in composing, proofing, and distributing drawing packages. -Contribute to projects that focus on efficiency, safety, and sustainability -Support field teams by providing up-to-date drawings for construction, inspection, and maintenance activities.

What You Bring

-Willingness to learn, retain information, and work at a fast pace. -Proficiency with AutoCAD; experience with AutoCAD Electrical is a plus. -2 years of industry experience or an Associate of Applied Science degree in drafting/design. -Mechanical drafting experience is a plus. -Must be able to clear a drug screen and background check. -Strong communication skills and the ability to take direction.
