The Role

Overview

Manage sales opportunities, bids, and delivery for Naval Services MaST contract.

Tasks

-Planning and organising the sales approach to assure the most effective development of sales opportunities -Some travel to customer meetings in the UK -Proactively managing opportunities through the internal bid process -Helping to develop job specific differentiators to create competitive offerings, in conjunction with the wider support team -Processing RFQ’s through the bid process -Liaising with Commercial Operations & Application Engineering departments to help build winning bids -Proactively identify 3rd party equipment to satisfy RFQ requirements

What You Bring

-Excellent communication skills and the ability to work accurately at pace, in a methodical and tidy manner -Experience in dealing with multiple suppliers to secure accurate and cost effective results -Adaptability and an enthusiastic approach – a team player and effective communicator -Ability to work effectively independently and within a team -Strong organizational and communication skills -Fluency in English, both verbal and in writing -Knowledge of electrical products and marine systems -Marine or Naval background -The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively -The ability to be resourceful and deal with multiple requests, in a fast-paced environment -Proven track record in previously capturing and interpreting customer requirements on a regular basis -Knowledge of electrical products in a marine environment
