The Role

Overview

Process AP invoices, reconcile PO, liaise with vendors, and support financial reporting for D&IT.

Tasks

-Investigate and resolve discrepancies between vendor invoices and purchase order amounts -Reconcile and match AP invoices with purchase orders -Provide data gathering for ad hoc reporting and forecasting/budgeting processes -Assist with monthly financial reporting tasks -Coordinate with procurement team members and vendors to close out completed purchase orders -Review and process AP invoices -Communicate with vendors regarding billing issues and payment status -Review PO data and expected delivery dates to help forecast anticipated expenditures

What You Bring

-Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy -Experience with invoice matching or purchase order reconciliation -Dependability and consistency in task execution -Professional demeanor in written and verbal communication -Basic understanding of accounts payable and procurement workflows -Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent experience -Typically 2+ years relevant experience -Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes -Ability to follow established procedures and meet deadlines -Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel -Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle Cloud -Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
