The Role

Overview

Lead structural engineer for renewable energy projects, overseeing design and client relations.

Tasks

-Liaise with clients, manage project work on a day-to-day basis and ensure that the work is delivered within the agreed timescale and budgets. -Coordinate multi-disciplinary design of renewable energy infrastructure. -Direct junior members of staff and mentor graduate engineers. -Respond to technical queries raised by project teams. -Act as Lead Verifier on projects including technical feasibility studies and design reports in the capacity of lead structural engineering.

What You Bring

-Medium and high voltage grid connection works, including cable routing and specific experience with National Grid. -Chartered status or actively working towards chartership -Onshore wind – ideally with recent onsite experience, including projects with turbines >180m tip height. -Contractor Design Approval Engineer (CDAE) certification is advantageous -BEng (Hons) degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
