Business Systems Analyst I

Overview

Support SAP S/4HANA, configure system, gather requirements, and provide production support.

Tasks

-Performs hands-on configuration of the system based on approved requirements. -Supports business teams in identifying improvement opportunities and helps document clear business requirements and functional specifications for the technical team. -Assists in creating project documentation and training materials, supports go-live activities, and helps with knowledge transfer to end users and support staff. -Follows project and department policies, completes required documentation, and provides updates on project progress as needed. -Builds positive working relationships with assigned business teams and acts as a point of contact between business users and IT resources. -Supports the design phase by reviewing solution designs, actively learning business processes, and raising any concerns about potential process impacts. -Participates in integration and unit testing to help ensure solutions work as intended. -Helps develop and follow testing plans to validate system changes.

-Highly motivated with a strong desire to learn, grow, and deepen knowledge in business systems -Adaptable and flexible in responding to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment -Excellent communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with both technical and business teams -Basic understanding of system configuration with a willingness to develop hands-on technical skills -Experience supporting SAP systems or business processes -Master data management -Familiarity with SAP process flows and integration concepts -Proficient in creating clear and accurate documentation -0 to 60% travel as required -Ability to gather and clearly document business requirements and functional specifications -Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience -Ability to work independently and manage tasks responsibly -Steel industry experience -Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
