Overview
Senior Risk Manager overseeing risk for complex construction/infrastructure projects

Tasks
-Coach, develop and supervise project staff and sharing knowledge and expertise -Facilitate workshops and engage with project teams to ensure the effective implementation of risk management -Facilitating risk workshops as part of the overall delivery of the risk process -Conducting regular risk reviews to maintain a project risk register and ensure that the project risk profile is accurate and current -Undertake assurance reviews of risk deliverables and methodologies to confirm conformance to best practice -Implement effective risk management activities to actively reduce risk exposure and uncertainty on projects & programmes -Work closely with planners to understand delivery expectations, identify potential risks and link risks to schedule activities -Producing appropriate risk management reports to inform decision making -Support development and implementation of risk management approaches/systems for clients, incorporating best practice and procedures -Undertaking Quantitative Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis techniques -Initiating, developing, and implementing risk management processes

What You Bring
-An understanding of how risk management integrates with other Project Management and Project Controls disciplines including cost estimating, project planning and contract administration -Experience informing the development of Business Cases, Investment Decisions and Appraisals, including assuring the quality of risk evidence -Comfortable working as a consultant within a client environment, including embedding expertise into their teams -Essential Soft skills include, effective listening, persuasion, collaborative style, leadership, flexibility, self-motivation, creativity and insightfulness -Demonstrate competency with implementing Risk Management processes aligned with ISO31000/ Institute of Risk Management / Association of Project Management methodologies on complex Construction and Infrastructure projects including but not limited to: -Good research and analytical skills -Strong stakeholder management experience -Excellent oral and written communication and organisation skills -Awareness of industry risk management tools such as: ARM,Xactium, Primavera Risk Analysis, SafranRisk, @Risk, Risk Predict! -Computer literacy in Microsoft applications -Ability to build strong relationships with clients, teams and stakeholders
