Industrial Master Electrician

Overview

Maintain and oversee electrical systems, ensure code compliance, and manage projects at Marvin.

Tasks

-Ensure compliance with electrical and building codes including but not limited to Intertek/UL. -Assist in Project Management for special building and machine projects. Serve as an electrical consultant to Marvin facilities and outside contractors including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, Roofing, Johnson Controls. -Provide recommendations for preventative maintenance and solutions for problematic issues to enhance equipment and facility effectiveness to ensure safety, reduce downtime, increase efficiency and quality. -Research potential components, evaluate performance and make recommendations to ensure our equipment and facilities perform at a high level and cost effectively. -Must possess proficient mechanical and electrical skills with the ability to read and understand schematics and diagrams. Lead and administer building of control panels and supervise involvement of electrical apprentice activities. -Building and managing relationships internally and externally is of the utmost importance for all aspects of this position. Train and mentor others to ensure we win as a team.

What You Bring

-Preferred mechanical knowledge includes: pneumatics/hydraulics, electrical diagrams and systems, controls, sensors and PLC's -Associates degree or equivalent experience Electronics (or related field) and/or five or more years related experience required -A valid North Dakota Master Electrician License or the ability to obtain one is required
