Overview

Design and oversee fire protection systems for diverse construction projects.

Tasks

-Provide technical competence in the planning and design of Fire Protection Services (not limited to Automatic Sprinkler System, Fire Hydrant Systems, Fire Hose Reel, Fire Detection / Emergency Warning Systems, Portable Fire Extinguishers / Fire Blankets, Gas Suppression / Water Mist Systems) for complex projects. -Prepare and present presentations to external clients. -Keep up to date with deliverables and meet project timeframes. -Bring value to inhouse discussions, design, project meetings etc. -Provide input throughout the Construction phase by attending meetings and conducting site inspections.

What You Bring

-Demonstrate technical knowledge, providing oversight and supervision to ensure successful project delivery. -Experience working within a design consultancy environment. -Familiar with local fire system certification processes in Brisbane and Queensland. -Experience in development of, or identifying the potential for, Fire Engineered Performance Solutions will be considered favorable, however not necessary for the role. -Technical knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and Relevant Australian Standards. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Ability to review Fire Engineering Brief (FEB) and Fire Engineering Report (FER) and liaise with Fire Safety Engineers to establish Fire Safety Engineering Performance Solutions. -Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines. -Degree qualified
