Tasks
-Implementing best practices and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. -Identifying new business opportunities and potential markets within the region. -Partner with the business development team to build and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners. -Driving initiatives for process improvement, efficiency gains, and innovation. -Communicating effectively with senior management, presenting recommendations and strategies. -Resolving escalated issues and ensuring effective communication with clients to build successful long-term relationships. -Enhancing the company's reputation and fostering positive relationships within the region. -Leading and motivating a diverse team of professionals across various disciplines. -Identifying and mitigating risks related to projects, operations, and regulatory requirements. -Developing talent within the region through coaching, mentoring, and training initiatives. -Participating in community outreach programs and corporate social responsibility initiatives. -Implementing strategies to achieve business growth, profitability, and market share targets. -Participating in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to promote the company’s services. -Monitoring project timelines, quality standards, and overall project delivery. -Providing regular reports on the region's performance, progress, and challenges. -Provide a clear vision to the regional team with accompanying goals for each department. -Collaborate across regions to share lessons learned. -Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and identifying opportunities for cost savings. -Developing strategic plans for the region in alignment with overall company goals. -Providing leadership and direction to project managers and operational teams. -Ensuring compliance with legal, contractual, and regulatory obligations. -Engaging with local communities, government agencies, and industry associations. -Implementing policies and procedures to uphold ethical standards and corporate governance. -Evaluating performance metrics and implementing corrective actions where necessary. -Promoting a culture reflecting F&B core values, effective collaboration, and accountability. -Managing the financial performance of the region, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting including JPR’s. -Overseeing the execution of strategic initiatives across projects within the region. -Monitoring financial metrics and making data-driven decisions to optimize financial outcomes. -Collaborating with business development teams to pursue and secure new contracts.

What You Bring
The Business Unit Director will lead and provide support to their designated region while working collaboratively across departments. The primary responsibility of this position is the delivery and achievement of specific KPI’s such as strategy, profitability, operational effectiveness, team leadership, and business development. These responsibilities may vary based on the specific organizational structure, size of the business unit, and regional dynamics within the construction industry. The role requires a blend of leadership, strategic thinking, operational acumen, and stakeholder management skills to drive the region's success and contribute to overall company objectives. The descriptions below are representative of, but not limited to, the duties and responsibilities for this position. As the Business Unit Director, you will be subject to various work environments. These environments include office and field settings. Employee must be comfortable with sitting for an extended period. The recruitment process will include a phone screen, in-person meeting, and a pre-employment background check and drug test. Travel may be required for visiting job sites as well as other office locations. The anticipated travel amount for this role is under 30%. -High attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to multi-task -Open & Constructive -10+ years of Leadership experience, preferably within the construction industry required -Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and familiarity with Procore -Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required -Experience in project management, estimating and field supervision preferred -Understanding client needs and expectations to ensure customer satisfaction. -Previous experience in self-perform trades is preferred
