The Role

Overview

Perform building maintenance, repairs, renovations and emergency response for residents.

Tasks

-Preventative Maintenance inspections and reporting -Ensure to have all tools on the tool list prior to end of probationary period (list provided during interview) -Coordinate inspections of turnover suites with Customer Care Team -Perform on-call emergency maintenance -Assist with snow removal -Address Maintenance Requests within 72 hours -Ensure contractors complete their work per established quality standards

What You Bring

-Working knowledge of English language both verbal and written -3 years renovation experience an asset -Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting -Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment -Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service -Own reliable vehicle -Group RRSP matching -Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment -Vacant suite maintenance and touch ups per established quality standards -Demonstrates a positive attitude, enthusiasm and assertiveness -2 years maintenance service experience required -Excellent time-management skills -Ability to fix the problem correctly the first time -Valid class 5 driver’s license -Familiarity with technology is an asset
