Tasks

-Manages personnel details to include salaries, positioning, hire/fire, reviews, coaching and training -Apply deep knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems in a data center setting -Communicates and coordinates activities and on-site staff during an incident -Overall site capacity supervision -Ensure compliance with Equinix standards, safety protocols, and documentation practices -Provides input and guidance towards budget -Stay current on industry best practices and emerging technologies -Assists with start up tests, documenting and reporting all problems -Provides immediate supervision to semi-skilled support team members -Plans, coordinates, budgets, and implements resources to complete projects and maintenance within the datacenters. Executes specified routine tasks. Meets unit targets typically against a weekly plan -Provide guidance and escalation support for complex issues and emergencies -Manage third-party vendors performing installations, maintenance, and testing -Oversees contractor work and operations to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards -Assigns tasks and monitors work at frequent intervals. Maintains schedules and workflow of the team
