Overview
Design, develop, and maintain Azure cloud and on‑prem apps, integrations, and services.

Tasks
-Contributes to software development processes. -May have responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization (e.g., IT partners, vendors, etc.). -Coaches, reviews, and delegates work to lower-level professionals. -Makes well-reasoned software design decisions, identifying potential issues, tradeoffs, risks, and the appropriate level of abstraction. (e.g. research spikes with results captured in ADR's, etc.) -Influences others regarding policies, practices, and procedures. -Engages directly with IT management, development teams, technical delivery teams, and vendors to ensure the successful design, development, and delivery of technology-based solutions. -Provides measurable input to new products, processes, or standards in operational plans to implement business strategies. -Works to influence parties within and outside of the job function at an operational level regarding policies, procedures, and practices. -Maintains awareness of industry trends and tools. -Responsible for making moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems or products to enhance performance of work area. -Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on work area. -Contributes to the foundational good of their domain and engineering overall, defining patterns and canonical examples, plus paying down tech debt. -May manage technical aspects of moderately sized projects or processes. -Ensure that software deliverables comply with quality standards and are completed on time Platforms. -Communicates with parties within and outside of own discipline. -Contributes to the development of goals of the discipline and planning efforts (budgets, operational plans, etc.). -Independently scopes and implements larger user stories for their project/team. -Elevates testing practices. -Mentors lower-level engineers. -Design and implement new systems and features, as well as modify and maintain existing systems for adaptation to business and/or technology changes. -Typically, responsible for coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower-level professionals where applicable. -Engages outside expertise (training, consultants, professional network). -Drive the software change and release management processes, assisting with the overall maturity of the software development lifecycle. -Ensures documentation exists for all critical systems and creates such documentation as needed.

What You Bring
Technical Skills -Solid understanding of DevSecOps concepts. -Requires advanced to expert knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. -Back-end Programming language, C# / .NET preferred. -C# / .NET testing framework, XUnit preferred. -Component-based Front-end Library such as React and Next.JS -Leads and coaches within their team where possible, trusted with team decisions. -Requires substantial knowledge of ES projects, programs, or systems to provide enhancements within job area. -Can navigate and make legacy code maintainable. -Front-end Scripting Language such as JavaScript and TypeScript. -JavaScript or Typescript testing framework like Jest or Vitest. -Experience contributing to the design and development of cloud-based solutions. -An AZ-700 levels of understanding of Azure Networking. -Experience with Workday Studio highly desired but not mandatory. -Experience deploying and maintaining applications on Windows Server IIS. -Strong familiarity with cloud and on-premises private networking concepts. -Typically viewed as subject-matter expert within discipline. -Experience developing applications and solutions with a security-first mindset. -Handles open-ended problems & ambiguity well. -May have broad knowledge of project management. -AZ-204 levels of understanding of Azure development. -SharePoint support experience. -Has advanced to expert knowledge of work area. -Experience contributing to a Git-based source control system as part of a project, Azure DevOps or GitHub preferred. -Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experience and analysis of issues. -Bachelor’s Degree is required. -Experience developing and querying SOAP and REST APIs. -Azure Data Factory development experience. -Razor and/or Blazor development experience. -Strong understanding of secure programming concepts. -Harness platform experience. -Experience deploying Infrastructure as Code (AzureRM, Bicep, or Terraform). -Experience deploying applications to PaaS and IaaS resources in Azure. -Experience developing and integrating applications with Microsoft SQL Server. -Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience. -Works well with others regardless of their technical background.
