Tasks

Protecting and growing our sales revenues As the Key Account Director (KAD) you will drive sustainable, long-term revenue growth and profitability for a company by strategically managing its most valuable and high-potential client relationships. Working with our customers Supporting sales strategy -Supplying sufficient, accurate information and account strategies to the Key Account ISE team to allow them to support account growth and to accurately and effectively process orders. -Working with the UK Key Accounts Director to support the development and implementation of customer specific sales strategies. -Ensuring company policy on financial discipline, contract profitability and credit provision is strictly adhered to. -Delivering quality sales proposals in response to tenders and enquiries from customers. -Building strong working relationships with service cente management to promote and deliver consistently high customer quality and service. -Taking an active part in developing and closing opportunities for accounts owned within your portfolio of accounts -Act as the internal “voice of the customer” across departments -Provide solutions that align to both customer needs and company capabilities -Developing and implementing strategic account plans for customers within your allocated portfolio. -Actively participating in the Key Accounts team, and in wider business environments, embracing company culture, vision and strategy. -A close effective relationship with the Key Account ISE team to ensure appropriate focus and follow up on customer requirements -Work closely with OSS and Modular rental to ensure opportunities for regulation compliant products are identified and followed up to maximum success -Strategically and profitably, protect and grow revenue from your allocated portfolio of key accounts. -Championing customer satisfaction, encouraging retention and quality service and exceeding the UK NPS target. -Effectively identifying, coordinating and leading key personnel within opportunity teams to ensure we maximise our opportunity win rate. -Puts safety first and will stringently apply the Algeco safety policies. -Developing customer plans, in conjunction with customers, which position Algeco as a key supply chain partner across all functions maximising the involvement of key functional leads. -Ensuring company determined boundaries and hand-offs between sales functions are followed on a day to day basis. -Promotes a customer first mind-set and understands the commercial need to balance that approach with business financial returns -Building and maintaining multi layered relationships with the influential people within our key customers’ organisations. -Follows the company processes and standards to the letter of the law. -Identifying and developing proposals for existing & emerging markets, product development & innovation and customer solutions. -Identifying opportunities for new products and services that will strengthen our offering to our customers and deliver required return on investment. -Collecting, monitoring and messaging status of market and competitor landscape.

-Possesses and entrepreneurial attitude towards winning business -Understand customer strategy, market position, pain points, and success drivers -Clear effective communication of customer requirements to all Algeco employees charged with delivering excellent customer service -Is not averse to change and can communicate process improvements effectively. -Demonstrating adherence to corporate policy and procedure, and legislative requirements. -Has a full driving licence. -Is a first class relationship builder who is at ease with the Algeco matrix organisation and able to work cross functionally. -Strong working relationship with credit control to ensure customer queries are minimised and resolved in a timely manner and customer payment profiles are maintained within agreed terms.
