Manages material flow, forklift tasks, inventory, and shipping in a manufacturing plant

Tasks

-Performs cycle count by reconciling physical inventory with data in automated system. -Stores incoming materials using forklift. -Generate reports to establish shortage lists and determine needed materials by interpreting shop drawings or blueprints. -Verifies quantity and condition of materials received. -Prepares and packages materials for outbound shipments. -Completes and distributes shipping documents. -Expedites materials between warehouse and departments. -Picks materials from inventory for distribution and arranges for delivery to work stations.

What You Bring

-Must be able to operate a fork lift. -Maintains and completes all required records and requires good computer skills. -Ability to function as a team member; to establish and maintain effective working relationships. -Work requires an understanding of the organization of materials, the location of work stations, and the ability to read shop drawings and blueprints. -These characteristics are acquired through completion of a junior high school education and approximately six to twelve months experience. -This position requires good computer skills.
