Tasks

-Partner with operations, sales, and service teams to resolve technical challenges, support customer requirements, and translate feedback into actionable design improvements. -Support full project lifecycle activities from concept development through fabrication, installation, and warranty support. -Perform heat transfer and thermodynamic analyses, including CFD modeling of airflow, heat exchangers, and refrigeration systems. -Create and refine detailed 2D/3D CAD models and mechanical drawings for thermal systems and related components. -Develop and validate prototypes and test fixtures, ensuring new concepts meet functional and regulatory requirements. -Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance equipment reliability. -Prepare and maintain project specifications, documentation, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for assigned designs. -Lead the design and development of custom cooling and thermal management systems for high-performance electronics and industrial equipment. -Participate in design reviews to evaluate feasibility, performance, and compliance with ASME Section I & VIII Boiler & Pressure Vessel Codes.

What You Bring

-Proficiency with AutoCAD (2D) and strong working knowledge of 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor). -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline. -4+ years of mechanical design experience, with demonstrated expertise in thermal systems, cooling solutions, and heat transfer applications. -Solid understanding of industrial equipment fabrication methods and pressure component design. -Familiarity with system and component-level thermal and fluid dynamics analysis, including CFD tools.
